3D Geospatial Modeling &s Simulation Summit III

Wednesday 25 April 2018, 0800-1000
hosted by USGIF at the Tampa Convention Center, Room 19

Please join us at the GEOINT 2018 Symposium venue for an update on activities being advanced as part of the 3D Geospatial Modeling and Simulation project. This Summit 3 event will convene from 0800-1000 in 25 April 2018 in room 19 of the Tampa Convention Center (across from Ballroom A). We invite you to attend and participate. Please register below.

The Summit will emphasize a roadmap of ongoing and upcoming initiatives and opportunities to improve interoperability between the Geospatial / GEOINT and M&S Communities. For background on our work and to sign up to receive future email announcements regarding this project, please visit www.3Dgeoms.org.

Our vision points to a global model of the world supported by a range of interoperable products, processes, services and data sources. Our goal through standards and related best practices is to improve the ability to ingest and process an ever-expanding array of sources, to improve agility of the processing environment, and further enable geospatial technologies to rapidly mobilize M&S products in planning and command and control.

The 3D Geospatial M&S project is being jointly supported by the Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO), the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), the US Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) and leaders from across the M&S community.

For more information please contact project leads: Dan Maxwell (USGIF), David Graham (SISO) or Mark Reichardt (OGC) at info@3dgeoms.org

Please also consider participating in the GEOINT 2018 Symposium. Information on this event including a program overview and registration is available at www.geoint2018.com
