Work topic progress & status - Survey for the most useful QoS metrics (Michael Gordon) - went out this week - 8 responses so far - useful feedback on metrics types to monitor - communicating QoS via standard methods of interest - will run for 2 weeks - close in 3 weeks - summary of results so far at Southampton TC - wrap up updates thereafter - will have a better idea of direction - October: formal results - conclusions - next steps - circulated to TC - further audiences? - ACTION: TK: to circulate to OSGeo - ACTION: MG: to discuss with Scott RE: distibution to W3C - ACTION: CM to look into FGP/GoC groups - ask members in the US? - let's monitor responses and assess - consequences of distributing too widely? - skewing results by a particular country - OGC Best Practice for providing QoS metadata for OGC Web Services (Tom/any/all) - no comments - OGC Discussion paper for ensuring QoE of OGC Web Services (Cindy Mitchell) - 1 change in paper since NF TC - need to discuss issues rooted in software configuration defaults - preparation for Testbed 14 requirements - per discussion paper - distribute to other groups in OGC (feedback, contribute) - touch base with targeted TC chairs then send to TC-discuss - Portrayal WG, MetOceanDWG - potentially present at their groups (Southampton or later) - ACTION: TK to circulate MetOceanDWG (CM to provide template) - ACTION: CM to circulate to portrayal WG 3.
